What lies beyond the tall concrete tower of London College of Communication (LCC)? My research took me across centuries of urban development, economic contractions, and gentrification in the Elephant and Castle neighborhood: from its beginnings as a crossroad into the City of London into a working-class neighborhood, and future developments into an area catered towards more economically-advantaged university students.
